Gracie Thomas
Minister Thomas was officially licensed as a minister in November 2018 by Reverend Jesse W. Plater, Pastor of Alexander Memorial Baptist Church in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She currently serves on the church’s Associate Ministers’ staff and as the Minister of Music, where she passionately leads in worship and ministryHer dedication to her faith and calling is evident in every role she fulfills within the church.
As an intercessor with a focus on healing, Minister Thomas connects with prayer groups across the United States and internationally in the Netherlands.
She devotes several days a week to these prayer groups, uplifting and encouraging others with her steadfast belief in God’s promises.
n 2017, Minister Thomas was diagnosed with cancer, a challenge she courageously overcame twice. Supported by the love of her family, she transformed her pain into purpose. Her journey inspired the founding of The Tranquility House, a wellness facility designed to provide state-of-the-art treatments for women impacted by cancer. Although still in its early stages, this groundbreaking facility is set to become the first of its kind in Prince George’s County, Maryland, bringing hope and healing to many.
Minister Thomas is also a featured facilitator with Breakfast with the Lord Ministries, under the leadership of Reverend Kim Meyers. This ministry, born from a 40-day fast and prayer, averages 30–60 participants daily. Minister Thomas uses her gifts of teaching,
preaching, encouragement, and prayer to inspire individuals nationwide during daily conference calls, helping them deepen their faith and connect with God.
In addition to her ministry work, Minister Thomas has been invited to serve as a Chaplain and motivational speaker for a Women’s Networking Group. This new opportunity allows her to expand her ministry of encouragement and empowerment, continuing her mission to uplift others through her words and actions.
Minister Thomas resides in Washington, DC, with her sister, Donna Clark. Known for her wisdom and faith, she lives by her signature quote: “Don’t focus on the process but focus on the Promise, because the Promise is greater than the process.”
